The Rubik's Cube of Life's Journey

When I was young and the Rubik’s Cube first came out, I could never quite get all the colors to align together. Looking back now as an adult, navigating all the twists and turns reminds me so much of both life and our professional journeys. Every twist, every turn, every challenge, promotion, setback, and opportunity plays a part in shaping who we become. What may look mixed up today in our careers is often God strategically positioning each piece for purpose, growth, wisdom, leadership, and elevation.

It makes me think about the story of Moses in the Bible. From being hidden as a baby, raised in Pharaoh’s palace, fleeing into the wilderness, and later being called by God to lead His people to freedom, every season of Moses’ life served a greater purpose. In the same way, our professional paths may include unexpected transitions, seasons of waiting, difficult work environments, or moments where we question our direction. Yet even those experiences can prepare us for the assignments, influence, and impact we are destined to carry.

With patience, faith, perseverance, and trust in Him, the pieces eventually begin to align exactly as they were meant to. Nothing is wasted when God’s hands are on your life. Every experience, connection, lesson, and opportunity is shaping the masterpiece He designed you to become personally and professionally. In time, all the sides come together into an amazing story that we could have never written better ourselves.
